Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right! - Henry Ford
I often get asked, “ Pam, how is it that you can run for so many miles and not quit? How is it that you can keep pushing yourself when you know that your body wants to quit?” And my answer is….”I just keep telling myself to keep going.” Sounds so simple…I know…because it is once you understand how to control your greatest asset: your mind. Your mind is a powerful thing. I strongly believe: “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” – Napoleon Hill
Are you training your mind to work for you instead of against you? Are you speaking victory in everything you do? Do you believe in the good thoughts instead of the bad thoughts?
So how should you start training your mind? Read. Read positive self help books. Listen. Listen to people, music, talk shows, etc that are uplifting. Speak. Speak positively about yourself and your circumstances. Do. Start doing things that you thought were impossible. Believe. When you believe, really believe, something can be done, your mind goes to work for you and helps you find way to do it.
Take charge of you mind and thought process and you will see the amazing improvements not only in your workouts but also in your life.
